There are over 50 breweries in Seattle, and the highest concentration is in the Ballard Brewery District. On this tour, you’ll sample many classic and unique beer styles. Learn about the history of craft beer & Seattle

  • Stop by the waterfront to learn some history about this proud Scandinavian fishing village

  • Visit one of the oldest breweries in the city, Maritime Pacific & the Jolly Roger Taproom

  • Learn about wild farmhouse ales and foraging local ingredients at Fair Isle Brewing

  • Sample some modern takes on traditional European styles at Obec Brewery, where beer makes community

  • Try other local Ballard Brewed beer spots like Stoup Brewery or Lucky Envelope Brewing

What to know

  • Tours begin at 2 and 5:30pm

  • The tour lasts for approximately 2 hours

  • We will visit at least five breweries and try a sample at each one

  • This is a walking tour and we cover roughly one mile on foot

  • The tour will take place no matter the weather, rain or shine, (we only cancel during weather advisories)

  • We recommend you dress appropriately, and wear comfortable footwear
